It is designee for use either indoors or outdoors. The dryer provides for 5 vinyl coated lines each 34' in length when fully extended providing for 170' of drying space. When not being used as a dryer, the lines simply retract. The main case is made from aluminum. To keep lines tight, the unit has a tightening knob. An optional receiver bracket(Whitney Item #42-0) can be purchased separately to attach the clothes line bracket to a wall or post. Item #15-7
